Straighten Your Smile in Secret With Clear Aligners

Get A Straighter Smile In Less Than 12 Months

If you have always dreamed of having a straighter smile but you are concerned about the appearance of bulky, metal orthodontic gear, there is a new, more subtle solution for you.

Clear aligners are an excellent way to correct malocclusion – or crooked teeth. Many patients experience crookedness within their lifetime, and clear aligners are a quick and convenient way to fix this problem.

If you were thinking about straightening your smile in the past, now is truly the time to get it done.  While everyone is working from home and wearing masks you can discreetly align your teeth safely and comfortably.  You can reveal a perfectly straight, radiant smile when quarantine is over. Clear aligners work fast and the treatment lasts between 2-12 months, whereas, in contrast, traditional metal braces are often required for 2+ years.

How Do Clear Aligners Work?

Clear aligners are the complete opposite of braces, yet, they work in a similar manner. Forget uncomfortable, awkward metal smiles and replace that with clear, comfy, custom acrylic aligners. While traditional braces use metal brackets, elastics and wires to shift your teeth into place, clear aligners simply apply consistent, gentle pressure to the teeth in order to align your smile.

Clear aligners often work faster than braces and they are most effective for patients who have very minor tooth misalignment. On average patients with clear aligners see their desired results in under a year.

Clear aligners are custom-fitted to your specific bite. Using modern clinical technology they are fitted tightly to your teeth. They are designed to place constant, unnoticeable pressure on your teeth in order to move them into alignment.

The Top 5 Benefits of Clear Aligners

Aside from discreetly and rapidly aligning your smile, there are many benefits to clear aligners.

1. Versatile

Clear aligners are very versatile because patients are able to achieve multiple treatments at once while wearing the trays. You can put fluoride or tooth whitener inside the alignment trays so you can get extra cavity protection, as well as whiten your teeth while wearing the aligners. This way, you can finish treatment with a whiter, straighter and healthier smile.

2. Discreet

Clear aligners are clear and hardly visible when patients smile. Many patients are concerned about the appearance of their aligners, but they are truly designed to be discreet. During quarantine, there is the added benefit of secrecy, it is the perfect time to transform your smile, while no one is watching.

3. Speedy Alignment

Clear aligners are meant to treat minor cases of tooth misalignment, and naturally, more severe cases of malocclusion will take longer. However, patients who are approved for clear aligners can expect to see results in as little as 2 months.

4. Removable

Clear aligners are removable and versatile. You must remove them when you eat, and when you clean your teeth. This makes them vastly more convenient than braces, which are permanent fixtures to your teeth for the duration of your treatment time. Braces can be difficult to clean, and many patients must avoid eating certain foods to avoid getting things stuck in the braces. Clear aligners bypass these problems with their flexible, removable design.

5. Less Invasive

Clear aligners leave your teeth looking beautiful and aligned, they protect the teeth from damage. Your teeth will look stunning after the aligners are removed. Conversely, when your dentist removes metal braces, they can often leave dark, yellow marks and discolouration where the brackets were placed. Clear aligners are less invasive and less harmful to the teeth and surrounding gum and mouth tissues.

Am I Eligible for Clear Aligners?

The best way to determine whether or not clear aligners are right for you is to come in for a consultation with our team. However, to give you a general idea, clear aligners work best for patients who only require a small amount of tooth movement in order to straighten their smiles.

This treatment is ideal for those who have had orthodontic treatment in the past but have experienced tooth movement over time. It is also an excellent option for those who have never had tooth alignment treatment before but want to correct slight unevenness.

At Lawson Family Dentistry, we want your treatment plan to be as unique as you and your smile. That is why we offer two different options when it comes to clear aligners.

Full Case

The full case of clear aligners is a great option for those looking to correct tooth crookedness in multiple areas. This is a great way to straighten both your top teeth and lower teeth.

Small Case

The small case is best for those who are looking to straighten one or two teeth, most often these small cases are used for the incisors.

Clear Aligners Pricing

Now is the perfect chance to straighten your smile in comfort and privacy while you are working from home. It’s been a year full of changes and stress and it is time to focus on yourself as it comes to a close.

Choose from a full case or small case of clear aligners and start the path to a straighter smile.

Full Case:

A full case of clear aligners costs between $4500-$6000 in our clinic.

The average treatment time for a full case of clear aligners ranges between 5-12 months. This treatment is incredibly efficient and quick and can be completed in less than a year.

We also offer VPro devices for full cases to encourage faster and safer treatment – these devices vibrate at a low frequency and can accelerate tooth movement in orthodontic treatment. By stimulating more bone turnover and deposition, treatment time can be cut in half in some cases!

Small Case:

The small case of clear aligners is ideal for straightening the incisors which are commonly crooked for patients.

The regular price for this treatment in our office ranges between $1200-$1800 depending on the number of teeth you want to be straightened. The treatment time ranges from 2-4 months.
