Emergency Dentistry FAQs
Can I still get emergency treatment without dental insurance?
You certainly can! We’re an out-of-network dental office — that gives our patients more flexibility and lets us offer the best available options not just for emergency care, but for all of our treatments.
How long does emergency dental treatment take?
It depends on the type of care you need, but most dental emergencies take just an hour or two to resolve.
Are emergency same-day crowns and dental implants permanent?
While our emergency same-day dental implants are meant to provide temporary relief, our same-day crowns are permanent. We use digital scans and imaging to capture precise measurements of your mouth, then create a comfortable, well-fitted crown for you with our in-office dental mill. The whole procedure takes just 2-4 hours.
When will I receive a permanent crown for my emergency same-day dental implant?
If you’ve received an emergency same-day dental implant, you’ll need to wait approximately 4-6 months for the implant to integrate with your jaw bone before you can receive a permanent crown.
Is it possible to save a lost or damaged tooth?
Unless the damage is very severe, it’s usually possible to save and restore a damaged tooth. A tooth that’s been completely lost can sometimes be saved, but it’s much less common.
