Did You Know We Can Place Crowns In One Visit?

If you need a tooth repaired, you may assume this means multiple visits are in your future. Instead of stressing out about lost work days or other conflicts, just talk to our team! Did you know that using E4D CAD/CAM technology, we can create and place a custom-made dental crown in one visit?

The Benefits of a Dental Crown

A crown fits over the tooth’s visible portions, allowing us to address a wide array of cosmetic and restorative issues. For example, we can place one to repair decayed or infected teeth. We can also fix chips, fractures, or serious breakage. We’ve used them to anchor dental bridges in place or restore single tooth dental implants. We can also lengthen worn down teeth or address malformed teeth as well. They will be made from ceramic, a strong material that is also stain-resistant. We can shade the restoration to blend with your smile as well, ensuring a natural looking appearance.

Same Day Restorations

In the past, creating and placing them required two to three visits. However, now we prepare the teeth by removing a small amount of tooth structure. Next, we take digital impressions of the tooth, which will be used to create a 3D model. We upload the information into the E4D machine, which mills the crown from a solid block of ceramic. Once complete, we check the fit, make any adjustments, and finally, place the restoration all in the same visit. You will leave with a completely restored smile!

Maintaining Your New Dental Crown

Afterward, you can take steps to protect the rest of your teeth, as well as your new restoration. We suggest making time every day to brush your teeth before bed and floss every night. You should also brush your teeth again when waking up the next day. You also need to have your smile examined and cleaned twice a year!
